Hello Lovelies!

Welcome to LovelyIAm, a blog about arts and crafts! I’m so excited to begin sharing my crafting journey with you.

Within this blog I’m hoping to show you some fun projects you can do at home. I will be reviewing craft books, tutorials and recipes, as well as taking you “on tour” with me when I visit workshops, classes and craft festivals!

I can’t wait to see what you make, and would love to start a gallery of all your projects too, so after every DIY blog post, I invite you to please send me photos of your own creations, let’s get a wall of fame going! You can get in touch with me at lovelyiamblog@gmail.com.

I am a maker of things. Sometimes good, sometimes terrible, generally always messy! I like to try lots of new crafts and am always looking for my next new project. I am based in the UK, and live with my SO, my pupper Mabel, cat Lilly, and guinea pig Chilli.

Why did I decide to create a blog? Well after some gentle encouragement from friends and family, I thought it was time for me to share my arts and crafts with you. Because I like to try new things and often get things wrong, I thought you might also be able to learn from some of my mistakes!Mabel Photo.png

And why LovelyIAm? Well it all comes from my dog. Whilst her given name is Mabel, her pedigree name is Astleyview Lovely I Am. And because I love her to pieces, and the whole point of crafting is to hopefully come out with beautiful and lovely things, I thought it fit quite nicely!

Thanks for reading, and I can’t wait to share this arty journey with you.
