Pablo Picasso famously said “Good artists copy – Great artists steal” and this is more true now than ever. Part of becoming an artist is finding people that you want to be, to emulate and to learn from, in order to improve your own work and to find your own creative voice. I thought I would share 5 contemporary artists that inspire me, and hopefully will inspire you too!
I hope you enjoy looking at some of these amazing creative peoples work, and why not share artists that inspire you in the comments below, I’d love to hear who has influenced your work!

I first stumbled across Adrienne Rozzi on Instagram and immediately fell in love with the bold images and Olde Worlde style occult images. I love the simplicity of each design, and love to look through all of her creations when I need to channel my inner witch! Check out her website – you won’t regret it!
I first found Sharlena on Craftsy – she is a fantastic artist – but even more than that, she is a brilliant teacher. Her mixed media pieces are bright, colourful and tell fantastic stories, you can check out more of her work here.
