I’m sure if you are visiting this page, on more than one occasion you will have purchased peacock feathers and craft glitter from your local craft shop “just because”, you might have a dedicated crafting toolbox, and you will definitely own a glue gun – although whether or not you’ve got any glue left is another matter!
My name is Louise, and I am a craftaholic. I love everything creative, painting, sewing, knitting, designing, baking, photography… You name it, and I’m sure I will have tried it. I believe there is just so much to be gained from playing with all these different methods of creating things.
I’ve loved painting and drawing all my life, and have always enjoyed experimenting. A lot of my methods are self taught – other than an A Level in Art and a GCSE in Textiles, I picked up a lot of my skills through trial and error. And that’s why I’ve always felt that anyone can be creative. Whether it’s learning to scrapbook, painting a still life, or playing with clay, everyone has the potential to be an artist.
So in this blog I hope to show you some fun projects you can take on yourself at home, as well as showcasing some other crafters incredible talent.
Please feel free to drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, I’d love to hear from you!
